Red Rock Care and Rehab Staff

Residents at Red Rock enjoy superb medical care, a vibrant activities program, dining facilities, full-service housekeeping and laundry services, transportation to and from appointments outside of the facility, and a number of other personalized services. Meet the members of the Red Rock team who make it all possible.

Gary | Administrator

I have over 27 years of experience as a Nursing Home Administrator. In my capacity as Administrator at Red Rock Care and Rehab, my efforts are focused on maintaining and improving the overall care and operations at Red Rock Care and Rehab.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration and have been involved in many ancillary and industry organizations over the years. I’ve served on both the regional and state committees for the Southwestern Region Alzheimer’s Association, as well as on Hospice advisory committees. I have also held the Multi-facility Vice President, First Vice President and President positions for the Arizona Health Care Association.

Chris | Director of Nursing

Early in life, I chose to pursue a career in geriatrics because I wanted to give back to the people who created the world we live in today. This decision led to a bachelor’s degree in biology sciences followed by 21 years of service in nursing and healthcare administration. In 2010, I was working part-time at 24-7 Care and Rehab when they asked me to take the Director of Nursing position. I accepted and enjoy seeing how my efforts – and the efforts of the staff I oversee – are helping Red Rock residents leave the facility stronger and healthier than when they came.

Karleen | Assistant Director of Nursing

I joined Red Rock in 2006 after 7 years of working in the field of long-term care. In 2007, I accepted the position as Assistant Director of Nursing. In this role, I have the opportunity to work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee all areas of Red Rock’s Nursing Department. I am dedicated to the quality care of the residents at Red Rock Care and Rehab.

Rebecca | Social Services Director

I started my career in California as a program supervisor in a home for developmentally disabled adults. I found that I loved serving in this capacity, which led me to pursue work in geriatrics. Before moving to Arizona to care for my parents, I served as a Recreation Service Director and a Social Service Director. While working for the State of Arizona, I was approached about taking a social work position at Red Rock Care and Rehab. In my current position, I am responsible for initiating and continuing ongoing therapeutic contact with the residents and their families, assuring medically related emotional and social needs are met, processing referrals and planning discharge.

Kathy| Activities Director

For the last 13 years, I have been involved in planning and overseeing activities in the long-term care and short-term rehabilitation arena. I believe my role is essential to both the physical and emotional health of the residents who reside at Red Rock. The activities we hold greatly impact quality of life and provide much needed social interaction.

Jennifer | Medical Records Director

I have over 10 years of experience working in the medical field, with nearly 5 of those years having been spent at Red Rock Care and Rehab. In my role as the Medical Records Director, I am responsible for collecting and inspecting the medical records of our residents and ensuring that the confidentiality of private health information is maintained.

Bruce | Dietary Manager

After graduating from The Culinary Institute of America I had the opportunity to work as a chef in many of the world’s finest hotels and resorts, including The Waldorf Astoria in New York City, The Bostonian Hotel in Boston and the Crescent Hotel in Phoenix. Prior to joining Red Rock Care and Rehab, I worked as the Food Service Director for The Thundebird Retirement Resort Community in Glendale. In my role at Red Rock, I ensure that residents receive nutritious meals while enjoying their dining experience.

Ryan | Business Office Manager

I have been in the financial services industry for over 10 years, serving the last four years in long-term care. With a background in communications and business, I strive to keep families well informed of their current insurance coverage as well as other options that may be available.

Amauri | Maintenance Director

I have been with Red Rock Care and Rehab for over 5 years. My efforts ensure that the facility is a comfortable and safe place for our residents.

Lisa | Housekeeping Manager

I have been in the Housekeeping and Laundry Department at Red Rock Care and Rehab for 2 years. I enjoy working with the residents and often have the opportunity to become close friends with them.

Roslynn | HR/Payroll Director, Accounts Payable Manager

I have over 17 years combined experience in office management, accounting, and customer service. In my various roles at Red Rock Care and Rehab, I serve as the liaison between administration and visitors, vendors and staff. It is my responsibility to help visitors feel welcome and to create a positive experience for vendors and staff.

Dan MOT, OT/L | Rehab Manager

An Arizona native, I have worked in skilled nursing rehabilitation for 8 years. My extensive experience providing occupational therapy in a wide variety of clinical environments – from in/out patient to pediatrics to school-based therapy – has prepared me to oversee rehabilitation at Red Rock. I have a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.

Jim M.S. CCC-SLP | Speech Therapist

After serving in the military, I received my bachelor’s degree in education and my master’s degree in speech pathology. Following graduation in 2002, I moved to Arizona to work as a speech therapist on the Navajo and Hopi reservations. As my expertise became known, my skills began being sought in other environments. Today, I enjoy working with a wide-range of individuals, from those in school to those in nursing facilities. It is the challenge of working with both the young and the elderly that keep my job interesting.
